2010 Robert O’Shea Engineering Ethics Award for Ohio ASCE

Student Chapter and Younger Members

The Ohio Council of the American Society of Civil Engineers announces the 2010 competition for the Robert O’Shea Engineering Ethics Award for Ohio ASCE Student Chapter and Younger Members.

The award will be given to the author of the paper on engineering ethics judged to be the best of all papers submitted that meet the criteria for the award. The award consists of a certificate and check in the amount of $250.00 to be presented to the author, and a check in the amount of $250.00 to be presented to the author’s student chapter or younger members group. Students and younger members can obtain a copy of the criteria by downloading a copy from the Ohio Council website http://www.ohioasce.org/. A copy of the criteria can also be obtained by sending an e-mail to Bob Redfield, Chair of the Robert O’Shea Engineering Ethics Award Committee, at bredfield@columbus.rr.com with “Robert O’Shea Award Criteria” in the Subject line. Deadline for submissions is January 15, 2010. Papers received after January 15, 2010 will not be considered.
