Description: The IMF at Rickenbacker International Airport, developed in partnership between the CRAA and Norfolk Southern Railroad, opened in January 2008 and currently covers 284 acres with a capacity of over 400,000 lifts annually. The new intermodal terminal brings three modes of transportation to one Global Logistics Park and is the centerpiece of the 1200-acre Rickenbacker Global Logistics Park planned for lands surrounding the airport. The intermodal hub represents an extremely efficient means of transporting freight and brings many economic, environmental and social benefits to Ohio.
